Curia Internship

The Curia Internship offers opportunities to live out one’s baptismal call and to support others in responding to their own.

The internship affords the possibility for personal development and formation that allows the intern to impact lives, experience ministry to the Church that is uniquely “diocesan”; work closely with others engaged in lay ministry; to be mentored by a young adult involved in ministry, and to be coached by a ministry coach.

The intern stands to gain valuable experience in a professional setting by working with a broad spectrum of individuals, learning to navigate the ambiguities of a developing position, and facing the challenge of keeping Christ at the center whether it be hands-on or behind the scenes.

The Curia Internship is designed each year to recognize the talents, skills, experiences and interests of the intern as these interface with the goals and needs of the Diocese.

Emma Showalter is our current Curia Intern! She is from Alexander, Ks and recently graduated from Washburn University.

(Application Deadline: Jan. 31st)
